2011 Activities 
Oil City’s Safe House program is under way and one of the first businesses to have an owner go
through training and be designated a Safe House is Best Printing. The Safe House sign was
recently placed in the business window by (from left) Terri Felmlee, president of the Siverly
Neighborhood Association; Jodi Donze, co-owner of Best Printing and a member of the
South Side Neighborhood Association; Trish McKissick, vice-president of the South Side
Neighborhood Association.
Not present are Bob Wenner Chief of Police. Jen Moon member of the Southside Neighborhood Association. Bob and Jen do the initial SAFE House training meetings to be set at a later date in May.
Venice Lewis President of the Northside Neighborhood Association and Jackie Greek Delegate of the Southside Neighborhood Association and spokesperson for the SAFE House program and Dave Donze a member of the Southside Neighborhood Association were not present.
The training is
facilitated by the South Side Neighborhood
along with North Side Neighborhood and Siverly Association and
The Oil City Police Department and Weed & Seed.
All interested
applicants are asked to have their
application
returned either via mail
to South Side
Neighborhood Association, P.O. Box 805,
Oil City or
drop off their application at the Oil City Police
A training date will be held sometime in May.

In spite of the rain everyone had a great time!

The Oil City South Side Neighborhood Association’s Laugh and Play playground committee installed several more pieces of equipment in the East End playground over the weekend.
