playground! We have decided to go with the Vendor - Miracle Recreation
Equipment Company with Mark Ford.
Lindsey McDonald was the winner of name the park contest Spring 2010.

Dear Community Member or Business,
The projected build date for the "Laugh and Play" playground to be located on the corner of East Third and Walnut Streets in Oil City is June 19,2010. The "Laugh and Play" name was the idea of a young student who along with other students entered our "Name the Park" contest. The children are getting very excited about having a local playground to play in. Many people are striving very hard to make this happen; however, the date is fast approaching, and although we have the funds to put in the equipment, there are still some amenities that we
need to obtain.
The children of our community are important to all our neighborhoods. Our goal is to establish a safe and accessible place for children who live in the East End of the city to play. We are working cooperatively with Bridge Builders Community Foundations, the Oil City Redevelopment Authority, and the City of Oil City on this project.
